Gulzar Saheb,
yuun hi na samajh lena ki shaam dhal aayi hai, bus yuun hi na kar lena palkon ka saaya, abhi khubsoorat kalpanaon ki udaan aur bhi hai, jazbaaton ke khushnooma jahaan aur bhi hain, aur bhi hain dinon ke rangeen ujaale, raaton ke satrangi khwaab aur bhi hain...

Trying to find me...Inspiration: Ever since happiness heard your name, it has been running through the streets trying to find you~ Hafiz When I gave it a chase, it would give me a run, when I would stop weary and worn out, it would entice me, when I turned my back to it, it was taken aback, when I walked back to me, to find me and to be with myself, it was after me.... Ever since happiness heard about me, it's been running through the streets, trying to find me...... THE JOY ROOSTS HERE AND NOWI waited for the sun to rise, for the cherished hopes to find a perch, for the dreams to take flight... but then the joy roosts here and now, not even to reach out for, and just nothing to surmise.... I am decked up with floral finery
and herded to an arena of game, amidst hoots and cries of a crowd gathered to see me run about. Many would pounce on me pull on my hump and tail, me all frightened and running for my life, all my efforts going in vain. We think our life is ours,
but it just hangs out there. We think it moves with us, shadows us, but it just appears to be so, making us believe it is there, that its ours..... it's about a flow, a breeze or a blow, we are plain helpless about it, we are sheer planless about it, where's it heading, that's a mysterious course, it just appears to be within reach, our control, we think our life..... Lush green in my backyard. Wild, unruly foliage. My being restless, thoughts slowed down, gradually, connecting with the chemistry, presented at my backdoor. And thus the verses happened. The chirp of a common bird. Its ordinary hops, its aimless, short flights, stirring a twig or a leaf. The melody hence, was set in. And thus the verses happened. |
